Visitor Testimonials (316)

We visited with 29 people. A first Menu was provided by the restaurant beforehand and we were able to change dishes without a problem. We had a fixed price for food and one drink, the rest was extra. The price was very good and the communication with the restaurant as well. The food was excellent, everyone enjoyed it. The restaurant is located in a lovely city and the seating area has a wonderful view. Thank you for the nice evening!

We had a fantastic time there. We brought our dog, but she hates cats. There was a cat on the patio, so that was a minor issue. The staff were very friendly and chased the cat away and offered us a table far away from it. It eventually started raining, so they gave us another table. It's a very nice restaurant with friendly staff and delicious food in a lovely atmosphere!

Amazing view. Better than the photos. And great food at a really affordable price

Love this place - super friendly staff, wonderful food / snack options for both meat lovers and vegetarians alike, and amazing wines and cocktails. Live music concerts are held in the summer on a regular basis adding to the already great atmosphere. Don't miss the wonderful views from the terrace at the rear.

Irene and her team were amazing. We had dinner and also organized a private party in another day. The food was amazing and everybody appreciated their wine! They were accommodating, kind and helpful. Do not miss this spot in Montescudaio and their wonderful patio looking over a stunning landscape. Big plus a great schiacciata!

Lovely spot with local products. We enjoyed a delicious Caprese salad and a sandwich. The staff were very kind, though the service was a bit slow, but understandable given how busy it was. The views were absolutely beautiful!

We loved it so much, we went twice! While staying in a villa in Montescudaio, we stumbled upon this charming restaurant with our kids and grandparents. It looked so inviting that later that evening—after the little ones were tucked in—we snuck back for a date night. Even without a reservation (and the restaurant was quite full), the staff graciously found us a table. They spoke excellent English and were wonderfully patient with my attempts at Italian. Dinner was incredible — I had the cinghiale (wild boar) in a rich, savory sauce with perfectly cooked vegetables, while my wife enjoyed a velvety pumpkin soup. The wines, all from their own vineyards in the hills of Montescudaio, were outstanding. My favorite was the Volterrini, a 100% Sangiovese, though every one I tasted was exceptional. We met the owner, Ruberto, who invited us back the next day for a vineyard tour and tasting. It turned out to be one of our favorite experiences in Tuscany. Just minutes from the restaurant, the vineyards and olive groves stretch across the hills, and Ruberto shared his deep knowledge of the land and winemaking process with such passion. That evening, we returned once more—watching the sunset over the Cecina Valley, sipping wine, and letting the kids play nearby. It was everything I imagined when I dreamed of la dolce vita. Thank you, Ruberto and the entire team, for your warmth, hospitality, and unforgettable food and wine.
